KeymasterWelcome to those registered for the forums here. Please take, a moment and introduce or reintroduce yourselves, and lets strive to move the forum forward.
Looking forward to hearing for you.I have been out myself almost weekly and have had the chance to field test some gear in the cold, 9 degrees, and have learned a little about handling layering, and the use of tech fiber clothing in temps from 9-30 degrees. Doesnt bring evidence of the Squatch forth, but good stuff to know in the field.
What have you guys been up to?

ParticipantI haven’t been out in the woods much this winter. I plan on making up for it when work slows down. I resently picked up the seek therm and cant wait to use it for more than watching my dog and kids in the yard.

KeymasterLet me know when you want to head, once winter lifts a bit I plan on being pretty field-active.

ParticipantI’ll let you know. My schedule is a pain because I work at the Post Office. I did manage to get out hiking and checking out a good amount of areas in NH last year though.

KeymasterBear in mind we’re only a few weeks old on this forum. As more folks find it, things will get more active. Just think, you got here first.

KeymasterI would suspect the same. In the next few weeks, I will out on 3 occasions if folks want to get out there. Let me know if so.

ParticipantHi guys!
Thanks Kevin for dropping me a line — here I am! I am mostly a historic BF researcher, as my 7-day-a-week work schedule doesn’t allow me much field time. I’ve printed a few capsule histories of Bigfoot in Maine and its literature in my Strange Maine Gazette and blog, which if anyone likes, I’d be happy to repost here as I did on the NESRA site back in the day.I’m continuing work on my book, Bigfoot in Maine, which I hope to have finished soon — most of my historic research is wrapping up, and now I’m shifting the research into the arena of contemporary sightings/encounters by talking to eyewitnesses.
I welcome anyone with encounters to contact me with their info, or anyone who has been out in the field investigating to contact me as well. I’m interested in interviewing eyewitnesses and investigators, or even folks who have grown up with stories in their family about historic encounters.
As I get the book finished up, I’ll start posting some bits and pieces of it — I think folks will be very interested in some of the items I’ve found that I don’t think anyone has published elsewhere before.
🙂
Cheers!
