Lots were wooded but well groomed with showers and outhouses everywhere and changing rooms near the water. Bears were known to frequent the nearby dump that was a place to sometimes go and observe them from ones cars.Deer and other wildlife as well were visiters.Feeding squirals and small birds from hand was fun. Most frightning was its face. Taking up much of his face was a smile from eye to eye.His skin seemed pulled tight and he made muttering mummbling squeeks and shreeks as it noticed me with the flashlight shining on it.It was indeed standing and could walk as it did run way eventualy.I had to scare it away as I felt is was a unusual for an animal, but a very sick and dangerous, animal that was likly rabbid.I acted as if I was reaching for a stick or rock.It ran with a ill looking attempt to scare me one last time as it left by opening its mouth.I was afraid but felt it was dieing and might attack out of its own madness so I was very glad to see it flee even as it did. I also remember feeling so sorry for it and the health it was in. I told people at camp but as kids exitment is discounted,so I also put it aside in my mind as an event no one whould ever care to know.I’m 52 now. I didn’t report this encounter untill now because I hadn’t beleaved in it being anything except what someday be explained, and untill I ran into a family of bigfoots in naples,newyork this year(2012),I have had no reason to visit sites on the web and learn,ohh thats what that is or is it? The Drawing the person drew of this forest demon looking animal with a joker like almost evil envoking sinister smile on its face is exactly as I also
saw in the lake george area as a boy in !969. I am in contact with one of your specialists named Bill R. who also encouraged me to go ahead and fill in a seperate report on this old event.

Priority Level::

Normal 2-5 years

Time and Place: ear: 1969 Month: June Day of Month (number only – e.g. 16): 19 Time of Day: approximate 9pm-11pm County: New York Warren Conditions: Terrain Description: Well used trails and campsites with lake and mountain veiws.Wooded lots with plenty of children and campers playing,I remember the day because neil armstrong did his famous […]

[32
