\nLighting Conditions: No moon, complete darkness, clear skies
\nNearest Town or Landmark: Town of Day, northern Saratoga County
\nDescription of Encounter Area: Woke up to light a lantern for my son when he woke up, middle of
\nthe night. Went outside to go to bathroom and heard a whoop. About 10-15 seconds later, another
\nwhoop. Got very scared and went inside.
\nAre There Food and\/or Water Sources in the Area? (if so, describe): Food inside our cabin, and
\ninside a cooler on front porch, porch screen door also locked. Swimming pond a few hundred yards away from cabin, not in sight of cabin. Heavily wooded.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nAnimal Description: The noise I heard was nothing like I’ve ever heard before. It was not an owl, bear, deer, coyote or fox. I know what they all sound like and this was not an animal sound.
