We then noticed it was coming closer at a rapid pace along the bank in the brush . It stopped across the water from us and continued to make loud screams and started to shake trees violently. This went on for about 10 to 15 min. it then went up the bank to the parking lot of the lock still making the loud vocal sounds it then moved down the lock property to our left side . We then heard it cross the lock bridge by the sound of the grates of the bridge it only took 2 steps to cross. At this time it then was in the brush at the top of the hill just above us only 50 feet away it then started shaking the brush and trees and started screaming again. We yelled incase it was someone playing a prank but it continued for about another 10 min. it then ran down the bank and crossed wood creek in one splash whitch indicates only one step over to the other bank screamed and shook the brush and trees for about another 5 min then ran off. We havent told only a few people because of the reaction we got in disbelief from the people
told so we left it alone.

Priority Level::

Historical – Over 10 Years

Time and Place: Year: 2000 Month: June Time of Day: 2am County: New York Washington Conditions: Terrain Description: shoreline thick brush and woods Lighting Conditions: none outside of lite range Nearest Town or Landmark: fort ann =lock 9 ,champlain canal Description of Encounter Area: shore of canal Are There Food and/or Water Sources in the […]

[32
