Heard a heavy bodied animal<br \/>\nmoving through the brush about ten meters from the tent. We listened as the two animals continued to knock and vocalize as they traveled off in to the woods. Heard the knocking again the next day way off in the distance. Wrote down the experience in the leantoo log.<br \/>\nVocalizations Heard?: A series of loud growl\/ cries. We both stayed silent, and were a tad frightened. The brush was cracking, and loud steps came close to our camp. Another one of the animals could be heard on the other side of the pond knocking on ocassions, and vocalizing. We listened until they were far off in to the woods. Neither of us slept well that night.
