\nA friend and I had taken a ride back to my parent’s house. The guy driving bought us some beer. We were about 12-13 years old. He dropped us off about 1 mile away from my parents house. We were approaching the driveway and decided to drop the beer off and get it later that night. We hid the beer in the ditch. As we took our first steps onto my parent’s property we heard this enormously loud, shrill, deep scream. Not like a screech owl and much louder. It was hard to determine how far off the animal was due to the volume of the scream. We agreed though it was between 20-50 yards away. We immediately ran to the house. The driveway is about 70 yards long. When we got to the house we heard the scream again. My parents were inside watching a movie and didn’t hear anything that we had heard. We spend the rest of the night talking about it and completely forgot about the beer in the ditch:) I grew up in this area and had always lived on this dirt road. I had never heard anything similar before nor have I heard anything similar since.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
