No fog and low relative humidity<br \/>\nNearest Town or Landmark: Wilmot, NH<br \/>\nDescription of Encounter Area: Kearsarge Mt Rd in Wilmot, NH 03287. Looked to be moving down<br \/>\nhill and across the road. young to medium aged hardwood forest on both sides of the road.<br \/>\nAre There Food and\/or Water Sources in the Area? (if so, describe): Yes, there is a stream in the<br \/>\narea and there are apple trees from old farms in the area. Also, there is a horse farm not far with openfaced barns that may have food. In addition there is a lot of wild game in the area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-witness-overview field-type-text-long field-label-above\">\n<div class=\"field-label\">Witness Overview:<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<p>Occupation\/Background: I am a snowboard instructor at Mt Sunapee resort. I also have a degree in<br \/>\nwilderness education. I grew up in these woods and have come across nothing like this before.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-encounter- field-type-text-long field-label-above\">\n<div class=\"field-label\">Encounter::<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<p>Number of Witnesses: one<br \/>\nLength of Observation: 30 seconds to 1 min<br \/>\nAnimal Description: Vague humanoid outline with forward facing eyes that reflected blue in my<br \/>\nheadlights. Looked to stand 7 feet off the ground. Eyes were there than vanished as though it turned and headed into the woods<br \/>\nAprox. Height: 7 feet<br \/>\nHead\/Facial Description: no detail seen<br \/>\nCan Witness Provide a Sketch of Animal Seen?: No<br \/>\nAny Odor? If so, Description: none that i could detect but my house is down wind from the sighting<br \/>\narea and my dog was terrified of something when i got home and he got out of the truck. My house is less than a quarter mile as the crow flies from the location where it was seen.<br \/>\nVocalizations Heard?: none<br \/>\nWood Knocks Heard?: No<br \/>\nRecordings Made?: No<br \/>\nI was driving home after visiting with my G\/F and going up hill on Kearsarge Mtn Rd. I was nearing the junction with Old Winslow Rd. i have driven that road for the last 16 years so the eyes that seemed to be in the middle of the road and if it was the same proportions as a human would have stood about 7 feet tall. I let off the gas thinking it may be a moose but i realized the eyes were forward facing like a persons and not on the sides like a moose or horse. at this point i was about 50 yards away as it turned and moved off the road. it moved from right to left heading down hill. When i got home I opened the door of my truck and helped my puppy out of the truck. he started to go pee but sniffed the wind and tucked his tail as he bolted for the front door of the house.<br \/>\nI&#8217;ve spent my whole life in the northern NE woods and I haven&#8217;t seen eyes like this before.
