Driving in car, a humanoid hair covered figure crossed the road (west glover rd, barton VT) and
proceeded into the woods. Figure darted around trees with human like agility and form. approximately 1 hour later, tracking was attempted at the location but was unsuccessful. pictures of a few tracks were photographed.
5/30: 6:45, Spoke with Witness, Jon, retired military, his cousin and his nephew were driving when they first spotted the creature in the middle of the road, it proceeded across the road, down a “slippery lope” over a stream and back up the other side, and ultimately, behind a tree aproximately 25 yards from the road. Jon commented his nephew got the best look at it, described as rusty brown, ragged hair, face wasn’t very visible, and crossed the road very fast. The nephew claimed the creature had come within 20 feet of the car. this occured on a lot of Jon’s cousin’s property. He also commented on the speed of the creature. He returned about an hour later and looked for signs finding and taking pictures of some tracks, each “over a foot”. The nephew claimed he heard a growl upon the return, but didnt see or smell anything. Jon further said that the nephew had drawn a sketch of the creature and would share the pictures of the tracks as well. 6/20/2012: Witness added that the creature crossed the road heading in a direction away from the Willoughby State Forest. Investigator commentary: Have opted to monitor this situation based on further potential Witness commentary. They insinuated they know of more regional activity, so it’s my judgment that this could potentially pan out into a broader investigation of the regional. Investigator Commentary 8/2014: Details will be offered if other parties are amicable with
it, earlier this year I was invited into what I will call a parrallel and unrealted investigation in this area by other regional Investigators, in the exact area this witness is local to. The combined details of both are the basis of the Fall 2014 NESRA expedition.
Field Investigation 7/4/2014: Initial recon of this area
provided a look around, the nature of the area as well as a good look at habitat, intend as ground work towards the upcoming expedition. Field Investigation 8/22/2014: Myself and Investigator Corie Allarie return to the area for an overnight Field Investigation, the investigation lasted as an overnight stay, no activity at this was recorded but the stay did establish an abundant presence of wild life

1st time ever was in Mount Holly alongside route 103 just above
Bursaws old dance hall, that was converted into apts where we lived is an old section of 103 that goes along the river for say 3/4 of a mile. Actually it is called Bowling green on a map, just south of East Wallingford, if you head south on route 103 you will see and old section of route103 that follows the river that is now a drive to a bunch of homes that are now there. It was in the summer around 7pm before sunset we (mom, Jon, James & I) decided to go for a bike ride down this old road we did thousands of times before. So this time my brother told us that we could pedal to the bottom of our yard and had to coast all the way down to the old train depot by the pond on the north end of the property. I was in last position when we were almost to the opening to the pond my mother slammed on her brakes and my brothers followed suite. I lifted my head above the handle bars to see it standing in the road. It had something in its arms. We came to within 20 feet of it. It bolted down across the river embankment and across the river and up through the open hardwoods into the thick pine area in a blink of an eye. We pedaled back home as fast as we could and told our dad, only to think we were joshing him until mom also told him. I think its vision off to the side may be lacking or because we were coasting almost silent less, it never knew we were coming in the 1st place. It had to be at least 8-9 feet tall and this one was thick bodied from the shoulders to the feet, its legs were as round as the upper body. The river was about 3 feet deep where it crossed, like it was a trickle, I remember picking blackberries in the same
area where this was standing, just a few days prior.

I heard wood knockings in the woods behind hubbard park, on July 31st at 3:00 in the afternoon.
(Montpelier) Investigation taken over by Norma Parcia I contacted Seth via e-mail to see when we could make phone contact and set up a date to meet him in person and investigate the area of the wood knocking. We e- mailed back and forth several times, (on Sept. 3rd, 2010). During which time, we made arrangements to meet that next day (Sept. 4th, 2010), in Montpelier VT., at a coffee shop in town. I called Seth the morning of our meeting to find out a little bit more of what happened on that day, and we gave him our ETA. Bob and I and our cousin drove to Montpelier, on Saturday the 4th of Sept. 2010. We left our town at about 10:30AM and arrived in Montpilier, Vt., at about 12:40PM. We met Seth at a coffee shop and drove to Hubbard Park where the event took place. On the way to the park I asked him if he could tell me what brought him to the hike to begin with. He said he hike there quite often, had just come from a seminar put on by someone, he said, was from NESRA, at a hall in town. He then decided to go to the trails for a hike. While on his hike, about 2 miles up the trail, he heard the knocking sounds off in the distance. He said it sounded to be about 1/2 a mile away or so. He said he had never thought of the sound before as being that of a Bigfoot, until he heard the seminar that day. He said when he heard that
sound before, which I guess he had previous to this day, he just thought it was someone hammering, and never gave it much thought. He said it sounded like a woodpecker but only more eerie. We parked at the gate to the park, which was only less than 5mins from town, and started our assent up the hiking trail. Seth led the way, and led us toward the place where he heard the knocking off in the distance. While hiking up the trail, about half way up to the spot where he heard the knocking, we stopped, and looked for a branch to use for our own wood knocking. A little further up, Bob took the branch and hit a tree several times to produce the knocking sounds. I asked Seth if that was what he heard, and he said that it was similar but much faster, and a sharper sound. He said it was about 10 rapid knocks in a row, and before the first set of knocks ended, the second set began, was farther away in response to the first set, and in the same rapid manner. He then demonstrated with his own stick against a tree of the speed of the knocks he heard…..his demonstration was much faster then what Bob had done, and in very rapid
secession. But he still wasn’t able to produce the right sound or speed of the knocking he heard. Bob again tried to knock faster than before, and Seth said the speed of the knocking was still faster and more at one time, about 10 knocks in a row. At this point I wondered if maybe there was a shooting range in town, and maybe he was hearing a semi automatic shotgun or rifle going off, and asked if he knew of any ranges around there….he didn’t know if there were any, being that he was fairly new to the area. We still had a little way to go to the spot where Seth heard the knocks, so we kept moving up the trail. Along the way, I observed the terrain and told everyone at the beginning of the hike to keep an eye out for “X” formations, arches, smells, sounds, and anything out of the ordinary. All the while I was making all these observation myself while hiking. At this point, as we got closer to the spot, I would ask everyone to stop, asked Bob to knock again, 3 or 4 whacks on a tree, and wait and listen for anything in return. We did hear one knock sound after each knocking session, but only one in return, and it sounded more like a pop then a knock. We all agreed it sounded more like a gun shot way off in the distance than a knock. We kept moving toward our goal spot, stopping along the way to knock and listen. At one location I whooped twice in a row shortly after we knocked, and heard no response of any kind, except for that gun type sound. After 1 1/2 to 2 miles of hiking, we arrived at the location where Seth heard the
knocking sounds in July, on his solo hike. We did a few more knocks, and whoops, went a little further still, on the trail, did a few more knocks and whoops, and nothing came back in response. After waiting and listening for a while, we headed back down the mountain. My observations and feeling on the wood knocking Seth heard, the terrain, and overall investigation is this: While on this whole investigation I kept my eyes and ears, as did everyone else, open for any tell tail signs of Bigfoot occupation…..at one point early on, there was a plank bridge that we crossed, where I saw prints below and to the side of it.
We went down to see what made them, and it looked like a possible bear print that had been walked over several times ,by a dog or dogs. We saw a few deer prints coming down a hilly side of a trail, but they were old prints. There were small stream beds in quite a few places, but were very dry and hadn’t seen water for some time. The ground was very dry and hard, so any chance of there being prints from anything was slim to none, not to mention the leaf litter, and pine needles all over the trails. We could hardly even see the prints we had just left. Apparently the deer population is very high there, though we didn’t see any during our visit, but Seth said he sees them all the time when he hikes. There is no hunting of any kind allowed in this park, so there is a good food supply for a BF, if it hunts there. I didn’t see much in the way of berries, though it is blueberry season. As I walked I looked for “X” formations, arches, and the like. We did see one lone arched branch, across the trail, but that could have been from storms. We did have some severe storms come through our area this summer, and storms this past winter that were pretty bad, so tree damage was plentiful, branches and uprooted trees everywhere, old and new. However, I did see some peculiar tree and branch oddities that I took pictures of, one in particular where there was a very evident path, that something had walked through some high grassy area, leading to a grouping of branches that had been placed in the crook of a split tree. That was unusual and in an area about 1 1/2 miles up the mountain. I didn’t see any other strong evidence of Bigfoot activity in this area, other than what I mention, which may or may not be. When Seth told us of the knocking pattern, I really had to wonder if it was wood knocking and said to him that I had mixed feelings about it. I gave him some sites to check out on-line, and asked him to listen to the wood
knocking on these sites to see if any sounded like what he had heard, because I had never heard of any that were that rapid, and to send me, via e-mail, the ones that came close. That same night he sent me two sites he said sounded closest to what he heard…..one was a woodpecker pecking on a fiberglass basketball backboard, and the other was a u-tube video from 2 Canadian Bigfoot hunters who had a interactive wood knocking encounter, that was also rapid and sounded like rock hitting rock, or a rock hitting a tree trunk. In reviewing the Canadian video, I began to re think the wood knocking patterns, and how the ones Seth heard could have very possibly, been done by a BF. I asked him to keep NESRA posted if he has any more events like this happens again. He is more than happy to do so. I believe Seth is genuine, and truthful….he heard something, whether it was Bigfoot wood knocking, or something else producing the wood knocking like sounds, is the question. I googled the topo for that area, and the forest is spread out in a range big enough for a BF to wander and possibly live there. Without being there on that day, and even if I were there, without seeing the source, I wouldn’t be able to say 100%, what made the sound. I am comfortable saying, however, that futher investigation may be needed in this area. I still have mixed feelings, but I’m open to the possibilities and promise of the area.

walking a road at 11:20 pm almost a full moon. i could see very clear,my attention was caught by
animal standing up, in a field. i froze, then the smaller one then stood upright, i had realized they were crouched, not laying down like deer. when i saw them standing on 2 feet, time pretty much stood still. they had about 3-4 second stare off(dumbfounded i was there), larger animal peeled off first and smaller one was one step behind it, they ran for pines, jumping red brush like olympian hurdlers. covered about 15 yards in 3 good leaps. very loud crashing cause the moment they reached the other side of a pine tree. it went silent. did not fade away could see the bulk and broadness of the arms legs and shoulders like muhammed ali covered in hair. big
bulk. anyways i didnt have an explanation until a while later, my eyes were working but my brain
couldnt process. no denying they were running on 2 feet and moved faster and more powerful than any human could. if someone asked me about bigfoot the day before i would have laughed in thier face. now i believe in them without a doubt, if you need any more info feel free to call. i think they were heading north around this time of year and head south around august. i live halfway between canada and mass.

Month: March
Day of Month (number only – e.g. 16): 8th, last sunday
Time of Day: between 3 and 4 pm
County: Vermont Windham
Terrain Description: rolling forest and beaver ponds, southern half of green mtn
national forest
Lighting Conditions: bright sunny day last sunday, beofre that in November on opening weekend of
deer season it was overcast, the time before that it was cloudy and windy when my partner jumped one
out of its bed, dark and raining when we went back in to look for prints
Nearest Town or Landmark: March 8th closest landmark is stone place road, it is the end of the road and trail head starts there. last november the thing was sleeping between two beaver ponds on a hill right near the ponds and branch pond turkey season last year it was crossing hoghway 7, my dogs chased it and i found my dogs over in ny state that is where we found the nests and broken trees
GPS Coordinates: no idea we dont use those machines when we are hunting
Description of Encounter Area: its typical rolling woodlands of this part of southern vermont and
new york, mix od hardwoods and soft, farmlands in the valleys, everything from beaver swamps and hemlock thickets to open pin forest on top.
Are There Food and/or Water Sources in the Area? (if so, describe): bears live here in numbers
and they get to be 600 pounds so I’d say yes. nuts, berries, small game, deer, moose, plenty of water sources
Occupation/Background: logger. i am a 5th generation vermonter, born and raised here, i work in the woods everyday, am a lifelong hutner and trapper and have trapped hunted and eaten animals here that people go their whole lives and never see one of, I know the woods and the animals in them, these things are not anything I have ever seen and have no idea what they could be maybe they are bigfoot, bigfeet, i dont know. i do know that i am pretty tired of being looked at like i am a nut because i say i saw something 3 different times over 3 or 4 years now that i cant explain.i didn’t ask to see this, and when i try to tell people about it only to find out if they know what i saw they start looking at me like i said i was in a ufo and had lunch with little green men. overall i am sorry i told anyone about this but if you can explain to me or them what it is and prove that i didnt imagine it then it would be great. i mean 1 time ok i saw something when i was tired and thought it was something else my buddy plows for the state and once when he was up plowing 36 hours straight he said he saw a giant rabbit in a 2nd story window wave at him and he knew he needed ot get some sleep but this happened when i was rested and hunting not working long days or anything.
Number of Witnesses: both times hunting in fall and winter i had buddies with me,
at least 2 of them saw what i saw, turkey season when we chased it with dogs i was alone then went and got my friend bob and he was with me at night when we got the dogs back and found the nests and broken trees way up high, that was last may.
Length of Observation: first time it was near branch pond, it was maybe 10 seconds, maybe even
less, second time was turkey seaosn i saw it for as long as it took to cross the highway, so maybe 1 or 2 seconds it was running and crossed that 2 lane road with shoulders on both sides of it and a good 10 yards of grass on each side before trees and i dont think it took 8 steps, lunges and it was across and in teh trees again last sunday i saw it real good, i’d say 3 seconds of staring at each other and then another 4 seconds of it walking away it was at 63 yards i know because i measured it with my buddys laser distance thing
Animal Description: first one was jet black, i thought it was a dead moose at first it was darker than a moose but had longish hari like a moose but not as stiff looking, like halfway between bear fur and moose fur? like that, it was a ball, and was the size of a really huge bear or a small moose , when it heard me it stood up, had a dark face, kinda flat, it had brown eyes i could see them clearly, it had less hair on its face but the skin was dark it had a huge butt, I mean huge, like it was wearing two big oversized fanny packs there was something weird about teh hands but i dont know what. something looked wrong. the feet i didnt see good but when it moved away it did it on two legs and fast, i want to say the soles were lighter than the rest of it but i cant be sure, i know they were not black because i could see them . the second one was very tall, looked thin for its height and was more a brown color thats all i can say on that one the one sunday was jet jet black and almost looked like it was deciding if it was going to leave or come after me, it had very dark eyes and i could not see anything but its nostrils and eyes real good it was very bright out and the sun off the snow i think screwed up my eyes as much as it did his. everyone says it sounds gay but i saw what i saw and this thing was a good 7 feet tall and had an erection. no i am not kidding or screwing around. it had an erection i dont know why or what to tell you but that is what it was. i didnt pay real attention to the rest of it because my mind was saying why do i keep running into these thigns for one and two is this thing going to attack cause i really got the feeling it was thinking about it.
Aprox. Height: 7 to 9 feet tall
Aprox. Weight: 250 to 400, one was real thin the other two were a good 400 pound animal, not fat and i hunt with guys that are 6’4″ and 260 and 6’8″ and 360 so I know what size is what when i look at something, these animals are whatever they are are taller than my hunting buddies by FEET and are not as big around as they are, they are slim for their height but well built.
Head/Facial Description: if i close my eyes i can see the eyebrows real clear, the eyes and the
nostrils the head is not really egg shaped it is tapered top and bottom but about the same amount, you knwo how a human head is wider at the top then the chin? not like that, the chin is about as wide as the top of the head? am i making sense when i say that, it is not square but more square then a human head. i have never seen ears on these things but some i can see the eyes real well others not, the skin is different shades one to the other, maybe like peopel, one was real dark, one was darker than the hair covering it and one was much darker than teh hair ir had, there is alot of hair on the face, more than a picture of a chimpanzee but less than a man wiuth a big full beard? im not describing it good but when this looks at you you KNOW that it sees you and knows what you are, its not like when a turkey sees you and kinda watches you for movement, but like when you see another person and they are looking at you and THINKING about what they are seeing. i dont know maybe they cant believe what they are seeing either. I can see the cheeks good but not the lips, one time i saw the nostrils real well they were big but not like a gorilla big, the main thing i saw was eyes and the eyebrows, not like a bears but like a persons
Can Witness Provide a Sketch of Animal Seen?: No
Any Odor? If so, Description: i cant draw for crap but i can help a sketch artist if you are one or have one, if i describe it better and they can draw it then i can show you what the three animals looked like and no it wasnt all the same animal. when i saw the one i thought was a dead moose or bear there was a dirty animal smell, pretty strong but not over powering, i skin alot of animals and am around alot of trapping lure including rotten fish oil and shellfish oils so what is not bad ot me is maybe strong to you. i like the smell of skunk and most people dont stand it for long. It had your general large dirty animal smell, each animal smells like something , bears smell like bears, beavers like beavers, this smelled like none of them to me but it was a definite dirt and sweat and fur smell. NOT musky like a mink or ermine, and not heavy like a bear or coon, if i had ot say it smelled like one thing over another i’d say it smelled like moose to me, but amybe that is because i was expecting it to be a dead moose.?

I wasn’t going to hunt vermont deer season then the second day of the season i said the hell with it and took my rifle and went over to branch pond, about 30 minutes or slow dirt forest road from my
apartment, i hunt there and trap and fish there alot, all over the whole forest, lots of people do.
i parked at the end of the road and saw another car there so went to the pond then along the shoreline headed north, its real thick int her e and i hoped deer would get in there to avoid the hutners and the hikers that go in and out the trails there. i went the whole shoreline and found a destroyed campsite, figured hikers left the tent and stuff and a bear got into it, it was too much for me to carry out so i kept going figuring i’d come back later and get it with friends. i got tot eh stream that comes in from a beaver pond and a buddy called me on the radio and said he saw my truck where was I? we use ear buds and this is real quiet, i whispered where i was and he said he was going to get ahead of me on the trail and try to get where any deer i kicked out would be in the open for him. i waited a good 5 minutes and clicked my mike to let him know i was moving, we have signals so we dont all have to talk, and then i started crossing the creek, in a couple steps i got across slow and quiet and as i started trying to figure out how to get through the balsam jungle i saw the dead moose or bear on a hill ahead of me, less than 30 yards, right along a birch that had fallen part way over but not all the way down, it must have heard me and it stood up and i was amazed that this was standing there, it looked at me for only a second and then was gone, it made alot of noise at first but then i couldnt hear it and thought maybe it stopped but right about then my buddy calls and says what the hell did you kick out to me? i thought it was going to be a bear coming and something bigger ran past me standing up on 2 legs…i said i know, i am coming your way wait there, he did and we met up and decided to leave. the next time was turkey season, i was out with my hounds and my buddys hounds and we were running them around his friends place after hunting til noon, you cant hunt after noon here for turkey, and the dam dogs took off on us, i drove around to rt 7 and figured i’d cut them off at teh hghway before they got hit and he came throught eh woods on his wheeler, he said they were heading right for me as he had the tracking unit with him, i was less than 100 yards away from teh turn around spot on rt 7 south of arlington exit and this giant friggin thing on 2 legs goes winging across the highway, the dogs not far behind. i was able to get two of the dogs and the rest kept going. we met up and he left th wheeler and we went to his house and i dropped him off took the tracker and went to rt 7a but the dogs
were across it already, hooking hard south and west, i drove around teh rest of the day trying to beep them and finally someone called my buddy to say they saw the dogs in ny which is only a couple miles from where i live and hunt, i swung over there and he said they were running a deer he thought because they were moving the whole time and not treeing, you cant run in may on public land so i called everyone i could and asked them to help me catch the dogs as we would be in violation , even though we were on private fenced land to begin with. when help came we started looking to the dogs and i found whre three were and another friend found the others and then he said you gotta come up here to see what i found and i said no you gotta come here to see what i found, he came down and said, that sure as hell is a giant bear track, and we found nests made out of tree tops under the thick pines, but it was so close to houses and roads we said nah its gotta be something else, then we went to look at what he saw and he said look up at the branches along the road, something has snapped the branches and trees almost in a line across the log road, one side down teh steep bank and across and down again then across the stream and the lowest branch was a good 9 to 10 feet up, these guys i hunt with i said are all voer 6 feet by alot and they can put their palm on a 8 foot ceiling , none of them could get close to reaching the branches and none could match teh tracks and stride going upa nd down teh hill, it was
that long. ever track was a good 4 inches longer than their foot prints. i asked around a few people there that i know and they looked at me like i was a nut so i never said about it again.
then last sunday was the end of rabbit season so i went out with a few friends to get soe hunting in and damned if i am not heading up the log road that is closed this time of year and the dogs are coming in closer, so i start to head for a good spot where i can see and i come around the bend and standing right at the tree i was heading for is another of these things, this one was pissed off looking, i got the real feeling that it was maybe going to come for me, it had, and i know it sounds gay but it is what it is, it had a erection. maybe they breed now and we interrupted it, i dont know but it was a real feeling of hostility i got and it looked at me like it wanted to maybe come get me. this took only a 2 seconds of time but it felt longer then in maybe 4 seconds it was out of sight. i dont know how many steps because i was still thinking about if this frickin thing comes for me can i stop it with bunny loads. when the guys came out they said the snow was too wet to get good scent did i want to keep going and i said no, go over there and look at the tracks, my main hunting buddy did and he said, holy crap you saw one again didnt you? i said yep and i aint got enough gun for these things if they decide to come for me i know that.
if it is something i am imagining then how come others can see the branches and nests, and the tracks? right? so it has to be something and other people have seen it when i have too, my one hunitng buddy has seen everything except the animals themselves and he thinks it is someone screwing with me, but in hunting season? thats a good way to get shot.

Greetings, after some research of the sounds of bigfoot, I am reaching out about our encounter last night at Halfmoon Pond outside of Fairhaven, Vermont. We were camping with our entire family of 15 people who heard the screams and primate grunts last night (there were other people camping in the grounds as well). Being familiar with owl sounds, bear and other wild animal calls, we were dumbfounded at these noises. The noises were a loud howl/scream followed by a series of primate-like grunting noises. This was not far away from our camping spot. We heard only this very loud call from our tent and then for the next hour or so we could hear similar calls far out in the distance of the forest.
The time was about 2:30 a.m.
My sister in-law who lives in the area said that there have been many sightings and mentioned that
there was a local expert on the subject. I would appreciate it if you would pass this encounter along. We did not feel like we were in danger and the presence seemed very benign.
