The C-Loop Project revolves around an area in the Adirondack Mountains and began in 2004, and has been ongoing since. There have been seasonal expeditions in this region throughout that time, and there are a few planned for 2018 in the pursuit of evidence in this region.

In 2019 this area will be expanded to areas immediate southwest of the current defined region and concentrated activity may focus more there.
