There have been 3 expeditions to the 5 Bogs area in early 2018:

4/27/18: The first recon of the year when the area was reachable and snow conditions were still preventative, with snow depth over a foot.
5/11/18: Second effort, the area was accessible and a survey of the 5 bogs was conducted, notably bogs 1,2 and 5. The area of the sighting of 10/17 was inspected. Possible wood knocks were heard while there as well.
5/18/18: The third effort, with the intent of penetrating the meadow that has been the apparent focal point of most activity from 5/16-10/17. No activity recorded but the meadow was surveyed and current theories have been modified based on observations over time.
