Description of Encounter Area: All I heard was a yell/screaming noise then two “whuff” sounds at the end
Are There Food and/or Water Sources in the Area? (if so, describe): Yes, all kinds of wildlife on
my husbands camp, 660 acres of land owned by a logging company. Numerous animals including deer, bears, coyotes, etc. I am VERY familiar with animal/bird sounds and have never heard this before.
Occupation/Background: firefighter / EMT-B
Number of Witnesses: myself, everyone else was asleep
Length of Observation: maybe a minute

I was woken up in the middle of the night (had to pee) As I laid in bed deciding if I wanted to go or hold it out, I heard what sounded like a yell/scream. It was high and then medium pitched in sound lasting about 5-7 seconds. I heard it a second time, then a huffing or deep “whuoof” like a blowing at the end of the double scream. It sounded fairly close to the camp, maybe 50 yards or so, and right behind the outhouse. I decided to hold going to the bathroom till morning!
