7/21/09: Contacted the Witness by phone and he took me through his story largely as it is described above, and offered some additional details. He mentioned that there’s an abundance of bears in his area and this not a bear. he used the works “like a big dork” to describe how the creature ran across the road in front of, estimating the distance between them to be forty yards. He then turned around and approached it in his car after it crouched down behind a tree about ten feet in the woods. He tried to talk to it and he described the growl the creature made as a mix of werewolf and mountain lion. He claims he stopped some oncoming cars trying to get them involved in seeing the creature, they were amused, causing he to head home. The witness claims he returned to the same spot the next day, but due to rocky terrain there were no tracks, but that “you could tell that something had been there for a little bit.” He has offered to take myself or another investigator to the exact spot, and said he had also contacted the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society and had one of their researchers out to the spot where photos were taken, so bear in mind this is not an exclusively NESRA report. I left it with the witness that I would let him know if I heard of any other activity in his immediate area and that he would could his eyes and ears open as well. All in all he seemed sincere although at this time there is no physical evidence of the occurence. I am attempting to check with the PBS to find out who investigated for them so we might compare notes
