could not sleep as i had a splinter in my forefinger that was pounding woke wife up and sh proceeded to dig splinter from my finger as i must have shown the pain that it was giving me – a loud blast scream came into out window from the trail about 40 ft from the window , we stood there and both shook , the sheer volume was like nothing i ever had before and it was not a scream out there it was directed to our window , as if it understood the gestures that were taking place later a movie came out a few years later and on the commercial it sounded the same scream we looked at each other and simultaneously said that’s it ! – a few years ago i was reading nj sightings and there was a a undisclosed person who wrote he knew exactly what it was as he seen it run the short cut corn field from his bow stand yet never said a word to any one – the time 1985 the place Stillwater NJ !
