Animal Description: THE PICS AREN’T THE BEST BUT ONE IN BLACK WITH BLACK EYES,ON IS BIGGER LIGHT BROWN WITH BLACK EYES KIND OF CONED HEAD LARGE BUILD, I FOUND A FEW TRACKS EVEN THOUGH THE GROUND AROUND HERE IS VERY HARD ONE WAS ABOUT 16″AND ABOUT 7-8 INCHES
ACROSS THE OTHER WAS ABOUT 13″LONG AND ABOUT 6 INCHES WIDE. IAHVE FOUND SEVERAL CEDAR TREES BROKE AT ABOUT THE SAME LEVEL AN LAYED ON THE GROUND ALSO THERE ARE SEVERAL TREES IN THE HEAVY PART OF THE WOOD LARGE CEDAR TREE THAT ARE AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE LIKE SOMETHING HAD BENT THEM OVER . THERE IS ALSO A VERY LARGE AROUND CEDAR ABOUT 10 INCHES AROUND BROKEN AT ABOUT THE SAME LEVEL AS THE OTHER CEDARS AND LAYED ON THE GROUND RIGHT NEXT TO THOSE TREES THAT ARE BENT OVER.

the first thing i saw was a large shadow pass next to my bedroom window at 1:45 am i have heard
repeated calls the whoop whoop call ,the howling moan call twice i was working outside with a was and hammer for two days straight on the second day i heard what sounded like a grunt growl followed by the sound of something crashing through the woods breaking branches,i have some pics but they aren’t very good.my wife refuses to believe me ,but my oldest and middleson have heard the vocalizations ,i have heard large movement in the woods, have heard branch breaking, have had rocks thrown at me the latest was two days ago when i was cutting firewood with my middle son i had stopped to help him load fire wood when a large rock landed about four feet from us in the brush.then last night me and my oldest son were outside and heard a whoop whoop vocalization coming from the distance so i started calling back and it responded more than once and started sounding closer and closer every response until we could tell there were more than one just
inside the tree line we heard a branch snap on one side and what sounded like a stick being rubbed on a tree on the other side it was unnerving so we quit and went in. i almost forgot about three months ago after avery productive fire wood cut that night i was awakened at about two oclock in the mornig by very loud wood knocking that went on for half an hour until i went outside with my flashlight and gun
