Lighting Conditions: dark in the wooded area due to the big tree’s and leaves on the trees… But we
had a good view on the road…
Nearest Town or Landmark: that would probably have to be Gaylord, Michigan but I’m not certain…

Description of Encounter Area: it was deeply forested with a few small creeks…

Animal Description: long… We got to the road and we noticed this bi pedal thing walking in the
direction the road runs.. Well this happened in the mid to late 80’s up near the vicinity of Gaylord, Michigan… My grandfather had a cottage back in the woods up there… One summer I don’t recall the year because its been so long as I’m 24 now and this happened around when I was 10 or 11 years of age… Me and my two brothers went walking around in the woods… We got to the main road which I do not recall at this time because its been so long… We got to the road and we noticed this bi pedal thing walking in the direction the road runs… It was too far of a distance to see if it had any hair on the body or how tall it was… But it scared my self and my brothers to the point where we ran back to the cottage… What I’d like to know is… Knowing that this was in the way northwestern part of Michigan… Has there been a history of sightings in the Gaylord area… I’ve been intrigued by the bigfoot/sasquatch phenomenon that I’m starting to get involved with local research.
