I was hiking up white face mountain, i had seen a show about big foot on the history channel so when i started the hike i said to myself wouldnt it be funny oif i saw big foot jokingly. About a half hour into the hike i heard a wood knock . I got scared and pulled my knife out because i saw the show and know what a wood knock sounds like. I squatted down for about 3 minuites then keep hiking. About 5 minutes later i heard another wood knock and there was a response that came almost immediatley from the other side of the trail. At that point i knew there was something or somethings there so i pulled my gun and held it for the next half hour. About 3 hours later i must have been about 3,000 and change feet up the mountain i saw tracks. They were way too big to be a bear or a deer. There were what looked like a bear tracks and then a huge track right next to it that was way too big to be any aminal native to that area.
8/2/2009 – Changed NY county from “NY – Oswego” to “NY – Essex”. The location of the alleged
encounter (Whiteface Mountain) is in Wilmington, NY outside Lake Placid. This is in the High Peaks
region of the Adirondack Mountains in Essex County, NY. Witness selected Oswego County in the county selection and typed Oswego in the description. This is a credibility red flag IMO
