Greetings, after some research of the sounds of bigfoot, I am reaching out about our encounter last night at Halfmoon Pond outside of Fairhaven, Vermont. We were camping with our entire family of 15 people who heard the screams and primate grunts last night (there were other people camping in the grounds as well). Being familiar with owl sounds, bear and other wild animal calls, we were dumbfounded at these noises. The noises were a loud howl/scream followed by a series of primate-like grunting noises. This was not far away from our camping spot. We heard only this very loud call from our tent and then for the next hour or so we could hear similar calls far out in the distance of the forest.
The time was about 2:30 a.m.
My sister in-law who lives in the area said that there have been many sightings and mentioned that
there was a local expert on the subject. I would appreciate it if you would pass this encounter along. We did not feel like we were in danger and the presence seemed very benign.
