Two friends and I were asleep in a tent when a blood curdling scream/howel woke us out of a dead
sleep. It sounded like nothing I had ever heard before or since, until I heard some of the recordings on the BFRO site. When I played those sound bytes I finally knew what we had heard. We were all very large athletic types but we huddled like scared little boys. We would not go out of the tent until morning and barely slept the rest of the night. The next day we were going to scout the area in the direction from which the screams came but it is shear cliffs on the other side of the river and we could not get up there. We actually told a Ranger what we heard and he didn’t know of any animal that screams. It almost sounded like a movie woman scream with a growely undertone. awoke to hear horrific screaming on remote side of river. Didn’t know what it was until I heard a Bigfoot recording on BFRO site
