Conditions:

Terrain Description: By the lake near the island on 100th and riverdale. there is alot
of trees and water as well as swamps behind the farm and the abandoned field.
Lighting Conditions: the sun was setting but there was enough to see in the shrubs of the trees a tall figure with a slight growl. it was standing on its hind legs and moving very abruptly through the woods.
Nearest Town or Landmark: Henderson colorado.
Description of Encounter Area: There are alot of trees and there is a island in the middle of the lake and a very open space filled with trees and fresh water almost like a swamp land.
Are There Food and/or Water Sources in the Area? (if so, describe): Yes there is alot of
rabbits,foxes and fresh fish as well as water within the area

Witness Overview:

I am a full time student and I work on the farm near my house during the
summer. I have lived in the area for 15 years and have never seen anything like this before.

Animal Description: Shaggy and about 5’5″ with a very unusual growl

While I was walking back from a fishing venture at 8:00pm I saw noticed the sound of twigs snapping ang a wierd howling sound as I looked to the left in the woods by the river there was a strange looking creature moving very abruptly through the woods. I thought it was a coyote but the howl growl like sound was unlike anything I ever heard. as I looked through my binoculars I noticed it was standing on its back feet and moving through the woods quickly.
